For the most part site-built construction has continued to be the technique used in building a house. One problem with site-built construction is, it does not take advantage of productivity and efficiency. The other problem is, the structure is exposed to the weather, which can cause problems to the materials. A prime example would be the fall of 2004.

Cutting edge building technology allows modular manufacturers to build any style of home from a simple 1,000 square foot single story home to a highly customized 6,000 to 8,000 square foot custom home.
